Weeds of North America Instructional Videostream Now Available
 Dr.
Richard Old of XID Services, Inc. and author of The 1,000 Weeds
of North America CD database, together with Washington State University
Extension, have published an instructional videostream for the use
of the most comprehensive weed identification reference ever published
for North America. The videostream is located at http://caheinfo.wsu.edu/video/weedid.html.
The easy to run program contains an interactive key, color photos
of all species, common name, scientific name, and up-to-date synonyms;
an illustrated glossary of identification terminology, and page
number references to over 30 weed books. The CD database is available
for purchase, $49.95 each, from the Washington state Extension publication
office (509)335-2857. Some shipping and handling fees and sales
