Wentz
Don Wentz
worked for the Alberta Agriculture Food and Rural Development
district for29 years. He received his B.S. in Plant and Soil
Science from Montana Sate University. In 2002, he received
the Distinguished Agronomist Award from the Canadian Society
of Agronomy. Don currently works with Reduced Tillage LINKAGES,
and serves as a Town Councilor in Coaldale, Alberta.

Mekhlis
K. Suleimenov
Mekhlis
K. Suleimenov serves as the Assistant Regional Coordinator
of the Central Asia and Caucasus Regional Office for ICARDA.
He was born in Karaganda, Kazakhstan, and became a Doctor
of Agricultural Sciences in 1982. Mekhlis has published four
books and more than one hundred papers on cropping systems,
cultural practices, and soil tillage.

Jepsen
Bill
Jepsen is an Eastern Oregon dry land farmer. He graduated
form Iowa State University with a degree in veterinary medicine.
Bill has served on the Morrow County Soil and Water Conservation
District Board, and the Farm Service Agency County Committee,
and is a board members of the Pacific Northwest Direct Seed
Association.

Jack
Brown is the Professor of Plant Breeding and Genetics for
the plant, Soil and Entomological Sciences Department at the
University of Idaho, in Moscow. He will be speaking on Glucosinolates:
An Opportunity in Agriculture in the Thursday afternoon cropping
systems session.

Griffith
Duane
Griffith is the Extension Farm and Ranch management Specialist
for the Department of Agricultural Economic and Economics
at Montana State University in Bozeman. Duane will be speaking
on the Impact of Energy Costs on Agriculture during the Thursday
morning general session.
